A refurbished traditional country coaching Inn built circa 1800s that has been renovated to a high standard with perfect views over the local Tay Forest Park and beyond to the mountains of Scotland. This stylish Inn is located a short drive from the picturesque town of Pitlochry not far off the beaten track near some of Scotland's most popular tourist destinations.
As the Second Chef you will be working closely alongside the Head Chef and owners to deliver a first-class product using locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. This is a small restaurant so working in conjunction is an absolute must to ensure the highest standards and continuity of service. The role will entail a few breakfast shifts but overall, will be heavily involved in producing quality food with quality ingredients.
The ideal Chef will have 4 years experience in a Chef de Partie role, looking for a step up or a Sous Chef that has worked in a smaller environment. Preferably with a Hotel/Restaurant background but the real focus is on the fresh food offerings. This is also a live-in position and would need someone that is happy to live on site, a real foody chef would love this role.
A competitive salary between £22,000 and £24,000, comes with very reasonably priced live in accommodation and a healthy share of gratuities.
