Job Description


Interstate Hotels & Resorts are now seeking a Banking Administrator to join the corporate Finance function based in Glasgow.

Reporting to the Payments Controller, you will work closely with owners and their respective Banking Partners to ensure that the appropriate access levels to the hotel bank accounts are maintained and managed in a controlled environment.


Key responsibilities within your role will include: 

  • Completion of Applications for new users ensuring that the correct access levels are always maintained.
  • Liaising with owners for the setting up of new bank accounts and merchant facilities ensuring that application requirements including KYC are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Establishing relations with the Banking partners including account managers.
  • Ensuring applications for BACS facilities are completed and submitted in a timely manner and follow up to provide any additional information requested.
  • Ensuring that the Interstate BACS bureau complies with BACS guidelines and regulations.
  • Assist the payments Controller with management of payment runs and adhoc payment requests.
  • Deal with any request by External auditors to provide historical transactional data as requested.
  • Follow up with owners to ensure any additional information or statutory reports requested by their respective banking partners are furnished within an acceptable time frame.


To be successful in this role, you will have extensive previous banking administration experience as well as dealing with clients and navigating them through individual bank requirements including KYC (Know your clients) information. You will also have excellent computer literacy and the ability to navigate multiple banking platforms.
