Chef De Parties will be responsible for the day to day cooking and prepping of the regional; menus. You will be supported during the shift with a Head chef you will be given spec packs and recipes to be working towards, You will be taught how to make pizzas and the dough, assisting with bulk of the preparation jobs. The right person will have good communication skills to liaise with the Head chef and shift leader.
Previous experience of working in food processing environment would be advantageous and preferable however full training will be provided for the right candidates with transferable skills and the right attitude.
Depending on the product and task you will need the following skills to accurately meet targets.
- Good knife skills
- Good communication & reading skills
- Good observational skills and the patience for repetitive tasks.
- Ability to follow instruction & take direction.
- Good hygiene practices adopting a clean as you go policy
- Have a good handle of time frames & understand fixed deadlines
Shift patterns will be based on 8-hour business production levels.
Shift pattern five days over seven
Full time hours available
28 days holiday per year (including bank Holidays) or pro rata if part time, closed Christmas and New Years day.
Variable rates of pay depending on key skills and area, paid monthly
On-site training will be available
Online - health and safety & food safety will be mandatory
Covid policy and adhering to its standards will be mandatory
