At Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels, we're all about family. Our seven hotels, located in three stunning Scottish locations, are family-owned and operated. We offer a warm welcome to guests and team members alike, and we believe in creating memories and incorporating our brand values into everything we do. All of our hotels, big and small, offer exceptional food and drink, great beds, and a variety of activities.

About the role

Working as a Food and Beverage Training Manager across our Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels, you'll be joining a forward thinking and progressive Learning & Development Team. The role reports into the Head of Learning & Development and you will be responsible for providing on-shift coaching, training and guidance to ensure the highest standards of service across all F&B outlets.

This will include the coordination, delivery and evaluation of training to ensure standards are consistently met and our teams receive the knowledge and skills to provide memorable experiences. You will play a key role in delivering an F&B specific induction with particular focus on Crieff Hydro, as the largest F&B department.

You will be a trusted advisor to the F&B management teams and will occasionally coach and supervise teams during service to evaluate training.

Alongside basic service skills training and on-shift coaching you will craft other training initiatives to increase product knowledge, or address service issues, which would be identified by working with the management teams to analyse guest feedback.

The role is based in Crieff Hydro Hotel, with monthly travel to other properties.

What we need from you:

  • Experience - You'll have previous management/training experience in a quality food and drink setting.
  • Enthusiasm - a true passion for hospitality, along with your genuine smile and desire to get it right for the customer
  • Leadership - you'll lead the F&B team to inspire and energise them to reach their full potential

What you'll get from us

  • The chance to work in a friendly, forward thinking company with investment as a priority.
  • Great benefits- including pension, and discounts on leisure membership, food and hotel stays
  • Live in accommodation may be available
