Our client is a leading independent based in the central belt of Scotland. Owing to internal promotions and recent changes, our client is now looking externally to attract a highly organised and experienced Bar Manager/ General Manager
To manage and ensure the smooth front of house operation of all bars, and to maintain high standards of customer service and food/beverage quality at all times. The post holder will focus on the Bars outlets and on ensuring a full bars service, but will have an operational understanding of the food service side of the business in bar areas and work closely with the Owners on ensuring high standards of service in all outlets especially in these very demanding times where Health and safety are a key operating objective.
This is an exceptionally exciting opportunity which requires a Bar Manager with personality and attitude to deliver the quality service, manage the staff and look after the product. It will be your responsibility to create a sophisticated atmosphere. You will have experience within a similar modern environment with an excellent working knowledge of the drinks industry. This opportunity would be ideal for someone working at a perhaps a No2 or a Deputy GM or indeed given the current restructuring and industry changes a current GM who has found themselves out of work and would now like to work locally or someone just looking for their next step. Your ability to motivate a team to deliver exceptional standards time after time will also be key. You will be passionate about creating a comfortable and friendly, yet professional environment for your guests and the team, it is essential that you have drive and enthusiasm.
Competitive salary circa £30,000 to £35,000 plus bonus is on offer for the successful candidate along with excellent company benefits.
