The Place: 

Xpress are working on behalf of a client looking for talented Head Chef to join this Spring for their prestigious 4* spa and leisure resort operation. This resort location is situated on the West of Scotland only a two-hour travel from Glasgow city centre. The property consists of three different food outlets as well as all the trimmings of a leisure resort and is a very popular holiday destination.

The Job:

As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the team along with the daily operational matters relating to the Cruize restaurant. You will implement and maintain service standards and develop junior staff team members through coaching and training. Additionally, you will be accountable for maintaining GP margins, Costs, Manning, Health & Safety standards whilst also ensuring high levels of customer service are achieved. As the Head Chef you will working very closely with the Executive Chef and Operations Manager to ensure maximum return on any new menu implementations.

The Person:

It is essential that you will have gained a structured and experienced Kitchen Management background preferably working with a large 4/5* Hotel chain or a large resort type Hotel operation. As a Head Chef, we are looking for that unique individual who can drive and develop the kitchen brigade with constant motivation and encouragement. You should be flexible, focused with excellent communication, leadership and man management skills as well as the appropriate business and financial acumen to run a kitchen operation.

The Rewards:

A competitive salary is on offer for this position depending on experience of up to £40,000 plus a 10% bonus scheme, along with all the company benefits, with modernised live in accommodation on site.
