Our Client is looking for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join the team in this prestigious hotel, golf and spa resort - only 30 minutes drive from Dundee. This resort is part of the UK's largest independent hotel group with properties located right across the UK and around the globe.
As the Junior Sous Chef, you will also be responsible for managing the complete day to day running of the junior members of the brigade in the absence of the Head and Sous Chef. We are looking to recruit a passionate individual to join a hard-working brigade looking to push the food up a level. You will be working directly with all the kitchen staff to ensure that daily tasks and prep are completed in a timely fashion, by supervising and leading from the front.
You will need to have a keen eye for detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure as well as support the kitchen management by supervising the team. We are keen to speak to career minded individuals who are looking to build on their skills and develop their careers long term. Someone that also likes to give back to the junior members of the team with on the job training improving the the skills of all individuals. Plus having the experience of working in a similar 4/5* environment would be desirable but not essential, maybe you are a CDP and looking for that next step in your career ladder.
Salary up to £22,000 is on offer to the successful candidate along with fantastic company benefits
