Job Description

The Place:  
Our client is a highly renowned Restaurant with Cocktail bar establishment within the Lothian's of Scotland on the East Coast. As part of the company’s coming out of Lockdown plans they are now looking to appoint either a Management Couple or indeed an experienced Restaurant and Bar General Manager with a business partner with either Front of House or Kitchen management experienced now looking for a new or exciting challenge based within this independently owned establishment.

The Job: 
As General Manager or as a Management couple you will be fully responsible for the day to day running of this locally based establishment, the business requires a “full hands on” approach as the owners are now looking to move away from the day to day running of the business and hence as part of this forward thinking strategy they are now taking this opportunity during this lock down period to re assess the future way forward, for the company.

We are ideally looking for the right management team to run this property as if it was their own. As General Manager / Management couple you will be expected as part of the job to comply to all licencing laws, health and safety, HCCAP and food allergies within the establishment. The job requires that commercial and prudent approach in all areas of staffing and wage GP’s especially during these new trading "Times" within the Hospitality Industry. The focus must be on "Customer Service and Health and Safety within the establishment thus taking the steps to maximise consumer confidence and building step by step the consumer traffic, having the right staff training and levels on board to meet customer needs and requirements is a high priority in these new "Times".

The Person:  
Ideally we are looking for an established Restaurant and Bar Manager or indeed perhaps a Head Chef and a Restaurant Manager team to form a Management Couple looking to establish themselves within a nice east coast community !!! This appointment is not only about knowledge, experience and skill it is also about a way of life that is community focused. Applying candidates might well be from an existing environment that unfortunately owing to recent trading have found themselves having to look externally or indeed individuals now at a crossroads looking for a new challenge. Applying candidates must hold full accredited licencing qualifications such as PLH (Personal Licence Holder) Certificate and be able to highlight a structured and sustainable career background todate

The Rewards:
