A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A NIGHT SUPERVISOR AT CROWNE PLAZA DOCKLANDS

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be required to work nights and may be required to cover day shifts on occasions. As Night Supervisor you will have excellent interpersonal skills and will be a crucial part of our guests' journey. You must be self-motivated and be an inspirational leader, who believes in delivering the best possible standards in guest service, continually leading your team by example. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills to handle guest complaints and providing departmental performance.

Your key areas responsibility will include:

  • Supervising the night team members to ensure all company procedures, standards and brand values are being adhered to and delivered.
  • Assist the Night Manager in dealing with all emergency/crisis situation within the hotel at night, acting as first point of contact for guests and emergency services as per the Hotel's emergency procedures.
  • Manage arrivals and departure process professionally and in accordance with the Hotel's Policy, ensuring payments and billings are correct.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the reception desk as required and ensuring the highest levels of customer service are consistently being delivered to our guests.
  • Identifying customer service problems or issues before they arise.
  • Displaying a positive, friendly, and informal manner with customers.

To succeed in the role of Night Supervisor, you will need the following qualities and skills.

The ideal candidate is an individual who cares about providing excellent service to our guests and who can use their intuition and creativity to deliver a wondrous experience for everyone. Has an excellent customer focus, organisation and methodical approach is paramount with this role in order for the team and hotel to be successful. Experience within a similar environment is preferable. Have at least one year experience as Night Auditor from the hotel background.
