You will be fully accountable for the ensuring the day to day running of the kitchen brigade, as the Sous Chef you will also be totally responsible for managing the complete day to day running of this business in the absence of the Head Chef. The new menu has recently been rolled out in this property where the key focus is on as fresh an offering as possible within this very high-volume all fresh branded establishment. A key element to this position and food offering is the consistency and high standards which must be maintained at all times.
Our client is looking for someone who has passion for innovative menus, an interest in food provenance, as well as a good working knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety and Allergen Legislation understanding. Previous experience in a similar role is not essential but would be desirable as are computer skills and financial acumen, together with the ability to organise and prioritise a busy workload. Experience from a similar high volume branded fresh food establishment is again highly desirable to be considered for this position.
