The Place

A Scottish institution given a new lease of life at the turn of the year. Our client is part landmark hotel, part adventurer’s bunkhouse – slap-bang in Glencoe and on Scotland’s world-famous West Highland Way. They have 57 bedrooms offering a great night’s sleep plus the bunkhouse offering shared rooms, a restaurant and two bars. 

The Job

Xpress are looking for a Sous chef that can take a responsibility for working alongside the Head Chef while helping to oversee the busy Bar Dining Food operation.  You’ll train, develop and motivate your team; improving and maintaining standards to ensure the guest’s needs are met and exceeded.  Working closely with the Head Chef to further develop the dining experiences within the Hotel.

The Person

You must have at least 4*Hotel experience. The role would suit a very experienced Senior CDP or Junior Sous looking to move up the ladder or equally a time served Sous Chef. You should have a good understanding of a high volume all fresh food service within a quality environment. Skilled in manning levels and junior team development are also essential. Excellent presentation and communication skills are also critical to maintaining company standard and work ethics.

The Rewards
