The Place:

Our Client is looking for talented Sous Chef to join the team this Summer in this prestigious 4* Spa & Leisure Resort operation. This island location is situated on the West of Scotland only a two-hour travel from Glasgow city centre. The property consists of three different food outlets as well as all the trimmings of a leisure resort and is a very popular holiday destination.

The Job:

We are looking to recruit dynamic individuals to join a brigade in the Brasserie restaurant. As a Sous Chef you will be working as part of a winning team ensuring that all daily tasks and prep is completed to the company standards. You will also be supervising CDP's/Demi Chefs/Commis Chefs and leading the kitchen team in absence of the Head Chef. There is a keen focus on ensuring everything is as fresh as possible and of the highest quality is essential maintaining the resorts high standards.

The Person:

You will need to have a keen eye for detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure and support the kitchen management by supervising the junior team. We are keen to speak to career minded individuals who are looking to build on their skills and develop their careers long term. You may be a Senior CDP/Junior Sous looking for that next step up in your career, looking for that live-in role for a different life experience.

The Rewards:

Salary is £25,750 on offer to the successful candidates along with fantastic company benefits such as the recent transition to an employee owned organisation.
