Tuesday, March 5, 2024

Melville Hotels has recently added the historic Garth Hotel in Grantown-on-Spey to its portfolio

The hotel, which dates back to 1769, is described as a "beautiful small hotel" by new owner Mr Melville.

With plans for Italian Scottish fusion menus, unique cocktail lists, and tribute shows, Melville Hotels aims to bring something fresh to the town.

Approximately 7 years ago, Mr. Melville initiated his passion for purchasing and refurbishing hotels with Loch Long Hotel located in Arrochar.

Joining our roster of accommodations are the Grey Gull Hotel by Loch Fyne, Royal Dunkeld, and MacDonald Hotel located in Kinlochleven.

In the previous year, The Royal Hotel Thurso with its vast size was bought by Melville Hotels without disclosing the purchase price.

The Garth Hotel's rich history makes it a valuable addition to Melville Hotels, maintaining its significance within Grantown-on-Spey.

This 18-room hotel has stood the test of time and is now set to offer contemporary experiences for guests.
