Craft beer superstar BrewDog has opened its first airport bar in Edinburgh in the hopes to expand into the travel hubs, planning to open in more airports in the near future.
But it’s not just beer; they are also offering popular menu items like an all-day breakfast, salads and a newly made ‘hot sandwich’ menu. It is open from 4am, offering 14 types of beer on tap, along with cans and bottles – letting you sit at the bar and relax before your departure.
Popularity in craft beer has risen, and with that, so has the BrewDog brand, making this an exciting time for the founders and the consumers. Whether this is a plot to expand in areas that don’t get hit by the high street rent, or if it is to let that airport experience become a little more exciting, we’re all for it.
