Byron to Reposition Brand Following Restaurant Closures

Wednesday, July 31, 2019

The Byron burger chain saw a difficult year that caused 19 site closures, having had their earnings fall from £4.7m in 2017 to £500,000 in 2018.  The chain closed branches under a Company Voluntary Agreement (CVA) last year.

Simon Wilkinson, CEO of the chain, stated that there’ll be a complete overhaul of the look, feel, service and menu of the remaining 53 branches starting this month.  This is to achieve excellence within the operations and grow the brand in a more positive way, with the hope to open further restaurants in the UK.
