Budget friendly hotel chain, Easyhotel, outline their plans to expand in Europe, starting with the intention to bring its first France site to the mix; a 209 bedroom hotel, which will be located close to the Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Easyhotel has in fact signed an exclusive letter of intent with Groupe ADP, the owner and operator of three of the main airports in the Paris region, and the operator of 26 airports worldwide, for a lease agreeing to the operation of the hotel.

The final agreement is to cover the planning permission, and also finalising and agreeing on the full legal documentation.

The hotel is to be developed by Linkcity, and the general intention is for Easyhotel to open its Parisian doors in the 2020/21 financial year.

Guy Parsons, chief executive of Easyhotel, stated that he is delighted by the progress they have made with the development of their first site in France, as Paris is one of the most popular destinations in the world.

Easyhotel recently opened a hotel in Barcelona of a similar size at 204 rooms which sparked the ambitions for the brand to expand in Europe, planning to target 10-15 cities in France, Germany and Spain and look forward to the opportunities in the future.
