Gordon Ramsay Opens Plane Food Restaurant Concept

Thursday, December 19, 2019

Gordon Ramsay has opened a new restaurant concept in Hong Kong International Airport.  The site is located in Terminal 1 and the concept was made a reality through a partnership with food travel specialists SSP.  The restaurant is called Plane Food To Go.

The menu will feature some of Ramsay’s signature dishes, such as a short rib burger, Californian fried chicken burger and a full English breakfast, while some items will be exclusive to Hong Kong, with grilled cuttlefish, pork patty bun and a lobster macaroni and cheese.

Ramsay’s aim is to deliver fresh and tasty food quickly, knowing how important it is to get speedy and good food when in the airport.

The first Plane Food site was launched in 2008 in Heathrow’s Terminal 5, and SSP partnered up to take the brand international in 2017.
