New Jamie Oliver Restaurant Chain to Launch Overseas

Wednesday, November 20, 2019

Later this month, Jamie Oliver will be launching a new casual dining concept as he continues to expand his international restaurant, converting his Bali and Bangkok Jamie’s Italian sites into Jamie Oliver Kitchen, run by franchisees.

The menu will include items like soft-shell crab burgers and beef cheeks cooked in Indonesian spices.

Paul Hunt, the Jamie Oliver Group chief executive, says that this new chain will showcase Jamie Oliver’s brand at its finest.

Jamie’s UK restaurant business entered administration earlier this year and led to 22 high street closures, including Jamie’s Italian and Fifteen London.  Despite this, he has continued to extend his reach internationally, including a new site in Norway in September.
