New Restaurant Opening in Cardiff: Uisce

Tommy Heaney is due to open his second restaurant, Uisce (pronounced as ish-ka) in Cardiff this month, following the successful launch of his first solo opening in October.  The restaurant will be next door to his restaurant site in the Pontcanna area of Cardiff and will be a coffee and wine bar with breakfast and lunch during the day, followed by wine and charcuterie during the evenings.

Breakfast menus are to include options such as homemade sausages, sourdough bread and Irish black pudding, along with also serving yoghurts, fruit and homemade granolas.

Lunch will include stews, salads, sandwiches and soups, and from mid-afternoon cheese and charcuterie will be on offer, alongside cooked, smoked and cured meats made in house.

The drinks list is equally exciting with house-blend coffee, an old-world wine selection, craft beers and gin cocktails.  There will also be monthly wine tastings are also in the pipeline.
