Premier Inn to Open Five New Sites in Scotland

Budget hotel operator, Premier Inn, is due to open new hotels in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hamilton, Aviemore and Thurso this year, creating around 200 new jobs.
The plans include a 136-bed hotel on Princes Street, in the former BHS store that closed in 2016 and a 249-bed “mega-hotel” in St Enoch Square, Glasgow.
There will also be a 96-bed hotel in Hamilton, 85-bed in Thurso and a 60-bed in Aviemore.
Overall, the chain will be offering 735 more beds through the new hotels and some planned extensions.
