Ready Steady Cook to Return to Our Screens Next Week

Wednesday, February 26, 2020

Ready Steady Cook is coming back to our screens at 4:30pm on the 2nd of March after running on the BBC for 16 years from 1994 to 2010 and we’re so ready for it.

The show will have a revamped format with contemporary food themes, like managing food waste and making meals on a budget.  Rylan Clark-Neal will be presenting the show while Mike Reid, Romy Gill, Akis Petretzikis, Ellie Barrie and Anna Haugh will be participating in the kitchen.

The series will run from Monday to Friday for 45 minute episodes, and each episode will see two contestants pairing up with a chef to take to the challenges below:

20 minutes to create meals from a bag of ingredients, all costing under £10.

10 minutes to make a dish based on studio audience cards.

An audience vote to choose the overall winner, still using the red pepper and green tomato voting cards.
