Sainsbury’s and Deliveroo Pizza Delivery Plans

A two month trial between Deliveroo and Sainsbury’s began on Monday this week (22nd of July) to deliver hot pizza from the counters in the supermarket straight to the doors of the people in Cambridge, Selly Oak, West Hove, Pimlico and Hornsey – and if all goes well, it could come to you too.
As of this week, customers will be able to order close to 50 Sainsbury’s products, such as their store pizzas, sides, salads, snacks and soft drinks, and is the first time that a UK supermarket has offered this type of takeaway service.
There will be extra staff to meet orders and manage the hot food counters and everyone is excited to grow this scheme and see where it takes both the supermarket and Deliveroo.
