Scotland has a new Two Michelin Star restaurant

The Michelin Guide UK revealed the Scottish restaurants awarded Michelin stars in 2024, featuring a new two-star recipient.

Mark Donald, formerly of Number One at the Balmoral, now heads this distinguished dining spot.

The restaurant joins Restaurant Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles, which has held a Two Michelin Star rating for years.

Timberyard, an Edinburgh restaurant known for its ingredient-led cooking sourced from local suppliers, retained its Michelin Star for the second year.

Tom Kitchin's renowned eatery in Leith earned a fresh honor for offering modern culinary creations and impressive food styling.

Inver is the only restaurant in Scotland currently holding a Michelin Green Star award.

The Michelin Guide acknowledged that the inspectors' unpredictability keeps restaurants striving for improvement and growth.

Scotland is celebrated for its abundant produce, skilled chefs, and unique dining experiences worthy of recognition in the Michelin rankings.
