Instagram have partnered up with Michelin’s reservation service, Bookatable, to let users make a dinner reservation through a particular Instagram business profile.

Long gone are the days of double tapping 20 burger pictures on Instagram and never getting near them to find out if they’re as good as they look – there are now tens of thousands of restaurants all around Europe on this system; helping connect diners and restaurants, creating an incredible experience with Bookatable and everything it does.

With Instagram inspiring diners about where, or what, their next meal will be – this partnership will help with discovering new places in the culinary industry, giving diners and users a chance to book a table with just a few clicks.  Not only is it good for the diners, but it is also great for the restaurants, giving that they can give their images a new meaning on Instagram to increase brand awareness in the hospitality industry.

The Instagram product marketing manager said that they are looking forward to increasing value for restaurants on the platform with this partnership and that it will make booking easier and help to gain new customers.

More partnerships with Bookatable include Apple, Bing, Google TripAdvisor and Timeout.
