The Alchemist to Launch First Scottish Site Next Year

The Alchemist, an all-day cocktail bar and restaurant group, is set to launch its first Scottish location next year, opening in the Edinburgh St James development.
This 200-cover location will be one of two restaurant and bar units to open on the main dining terrace of this new development.
The company confirmed its new UK expansion plans in June, with two in London, one in Birmingham and one in Portsmouth, which is to open this week. There are also plans in place to open a site at The Brewery Quarter in Gloucestershire next year.
The company are looking forward to opening in St James, as it’s to be a vibrant and varied destination that’ll appeal to tourists, shoppers, residents and workers alike – giving them the desirable audience that love their venues in their other locations.
