Rated 4 out of five stars, this is a fantastic alternative to Dawyck. It features beautiful gardens, various seasonal attractions such as the viewing of the Tweed Valley Ospreys. The Kailzie Courtyard Café is also a huge hit (open Saturdays and Sundays).

This attraction has a strong rating of 4.5 out of 5. The museum commemorates the life and works of John Buchan, who wrote ‘The 39 Steps’. The museum is free to enter but donations are welcomed.
